Our Promise

At KoaMalu Collective, every piece is designed and hand-drawn in Hawaiʻi with purpose, aloha, and a commitment to giving back to the ʻāina. Because many of our collections are limited-edition and produced in small batches, we kindly ask that you review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

We want you to love your KoaMalu apparel, and we'll always do our best to make things right if an issue arises.

Returns & Exchanges

We gladly accept returns or exchanges on unworn, unwashed, and unused items in their original condition within 30 days of delivery.

To request a return or exchange, please contact us at [your email address] and include:

  • Your order number

  • The item(s) you'd like to return or exchange

  • The reason for your request

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or we made an error with the order.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please include:

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging

Once reviewed, we will work with you to provide a replacement, exchange, store credit, or refund as appropriate.

Limited-Edition Collections

KoaMalu collections are intentionally produced in limited quantities, often with only a small number of pieces available in each design and colorway.

Because of this limited availability, replacement items may not always be available. If an exchange cannot be accommodated, we may offer store credit or a refund at our discretion.

Sale Items

All sale, clearance, promotional, and discounted items are considered Final Sale and are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges unless they arrive damaged or defective.

Pre-Orders

Many KoaMalu items are offered through pre-orders to reduce waste and support sustainable production practices.

Pre-order purchases may be canceled within 48 hours of placing the order. Once production has begun, pre-order sales are generally considered final.

Should any significant delays occur, we will communicate updates and available options.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.

Please allow 5–10 business days after approval for your financial institution to process and post the refund.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective item.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are generally not eligible for return:

  • Sale or clearance merchandise

  • Gift cards

  • Items marked Final Sale

  • Customized or personalized products

  • Products returned in worn, washed, damaged, or altered condition

Mahalo for Supporting Our Mission

Every KoaMalu purchase supports our mission to celebrate Hawaiʻi through art while helping restore native Hawaiian forests through tree plantings.

Mahalo for being part of our growing ʻohana and for helping us create a healthier future for Hawaiʻi's native birds, plants, forests, and future generations.

Wear Aloha with Intention.
