Mens Dress Aloha Shirt with front pocket.  True to Size.

Each hand-drawn shirt design is a tribute to our ʻāina, our culture, and the ecosystems we strive to protect. Made from recycled polyester, these shirts offer a sustainable choice for those who care deeply about our ʻāina. For every shirt created, a tree is planted to help restore and replenish our native forests. This collection is a small but meaningful way to mālama our earth and stay rooted in aloha. Wear it with pride, knowing you’re part of something greater—an eco-warrior movement to care for our planet, one shirt at a time.

*Note:  Each design is dropped in limited runs - only 50 per color-way.  When its gone - its gone... only to be reborn in a whole new hue.

The koa tree (Acacia koa) is one of Hawai‘i’s most iconic native trees, known for its tall, graceful form and rich, reddish wood. Found only in the Hawaiian Islands, koa thrives in upland forests and plays a crucial role in the local ecosystem, providing habitat for native birds and stabilizing soil. Its wood, prized for its beauty and strength, has been traditionally used by Native Hawaiians to craft canoes (waʻa), surfboards (papa heʻe nalu), and weapons (lāʻau palau)—tools essential to both daily life and cultural practices.

In Native Hawaiian culture, koa symbolizes courage and strength—in fact, the word “koa” also means "warrior." The tree is deeply respected not only for its practical uses but also for its spiritual presence in the land.

Moʻolelo

One moʻolelo (traditional story) tells of a brave warrior named Kūkaʻilimoku, an incarnation of the god Kū, who used a mighty club carved from koa wood to protect his people from invaders. It’s said that the mana (spiritual power) of the koa tree was imbued in his weapon, making it nearly unstoppable. To this day, koa is honored as a tree of warriors, and its use is reserved for items of great importance and respect.

Koa continues to be a living symbol of Hawaiian resilience, identity, and deep connection to the ʻāina (land).
