WHS Koa Halter Dress: 50th Anniversary

Whisper soft, lightweight, slim-line dress. 

Feels like light silk or chiffon

Wears on the larger end.  Size down one.

Made of:  100%  polyester

A skinny-fit dress designed to be loose on the bottom so you don't feel restricted when you move. The material is light-weight, breathable and sweat-absorbent.     Overlapping slit in the front of the dress with neck tie in the back of the neck.  Waist tie can be tied around the waist or at back for a snatched look.  

Machine washable.  Recommend with Cold Water.  Do not soak for a long time.  Do not bleach.  Tumble dry on medium.  

Koa – A Symbol of Strength and Renewal

The majestic Koa (Acacia koa) is one of Hawaiʻi's most treasured native trees, representing strength, resilience, courage, and integrity. Deeply grounded in Hawaiian culture, Koa has long been used to craft waʻa (canoes), tools, and other treasured objects, while standing as a symbol of perseverance and growth.

Today, Koa continues to play an essential role in restoring Hawaiʻi's native forests. As a nitrogen-fixing tree, it helps enrich the soil, supports healthy watersheds, reduces erosion, captures carbon from the atmosphere, and provides vital habitat for many of Hawaiʻi's endangered native birds and other species.

This special Koa Collection was created in honor of the Waiākea High School community, celebrating the strength and resilience that define every Warrior.

For every piece purchased, one native Hawaiian tree will be planted to help restore Hawaiʻi's forests. The remaining profits from this collection will be donated to the Waiākea High School Foundation to support future generations of students and educational opportunities.

Because this collection is being created exclusively as a pre-order for Waiākea alumni and supporters, each garment is ordered specifically for you. KoaMalu Collective will not be carrying additional inventory or extra sizes once the pre-order closes.

For that reason, all pre-order sales are final — no returns, refunds, or size exchanges.

We would love to magically pull another size out of the closet if something doesn’t fit… but unfortunately, there is no secret closet. 😄 Each piece is being made specifically for this commemorative collection.
